Fortnite is getting ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a big way this year. Instead of just one day of fun stuff, Epic Games is running the Love and Legends event throughout the entire month of February. You will get free rewards, special game modes, and other sweet content returning to the game. Here is everything inside the Fortnite Love and Legends event, so you don’t miss out on any!

Fortnite Love and Legends - 1

What is the Fortnite Love and Legends Event?

The event kicked off on February 5th and will run through the end of the month.

Fortnite Love and Legends - 2

What Are Battle Royale Power Hours?

You will notice Power Hours happening on February 7, 14, and 21. These are special, limited-time events in Battle Royale mode where you can earn extra XP or get special rewards just for playing.

Free Rewards

The Love and Legends event includes multiple chances to grab free cosmetics. You will get your first freebie on February 6 when the KPop Demon Hunters Wave 2 content drops. Then, on February 13, expect more free rewards when Nitemare Island makes its return.

Starting February 14, Epic is adding daily rewards. Don’t get too excited, though. Most of these will probably be XP boosts rather than skins or back bling. But hey, free XP is still helpful if you’re trying to complete your Battle Pass or the new Heartcore Music Pass for Chappell Roan skins .

The Pink Storm Circle

On February 13, the storm circle in Battle Royale is getting a Valentine’s makeover. Instead of the usual purple storm, you will see a pink one. It’s probably just a visual change to match the holiday theme.

Nitemare Island Returns

If you missed Nitemare Island when it first appeared, you’re getting another shot on February 13. This special island location brings unique gameplay and challenges. It originally showed up during the previous Fortnitemares event, and lots of players have been asking for it to come back. Now is your chance to check it out if you haven’t.

OG Ice Storm Event and Ice King Boss

The classic Ice Storm event from the original Fortnite is coming back on February 15. This event will feature the Ice King NPC as a boss character you can fight. The Ice King was a huge deal back in the day, and having him return is a big nostalgia trip for longtime players. If you’re newer to Fortnite, this is your chance to experience what made older seasons so memorable. Fighting the Ice King will probably give you special loot, just like boss fights usually do in Fortnite.

DeLorean Car and Lantern Fest

On February 19, the DeLorean is returning to Fortnite. This car is super fun to drive around the map, and it’s been gone for a while. If you never got to use it before, make sure you hop in and take it for a spin. It handles differently from regular Fortnite vehicles and just looks awesome.

The same day, Reload mode gets its own special content with the Lantern Fest. Reload is the faster-paced Fortnite mode with respawns, so if you prefer that style of gameplay, you will have something to enjoy, too.

The Seven Return

On February 23, The Seven are coming back to Fortnite. The Seven are major characters in Fortnite’s story, and their appearance usually means something big is happening. We don’t know exactly what form this will take. It could be new skins in the shop, special challenges, or maybe even story content.

New Collabs and Cosmetics

The Love and Legends event isn’t just about returning content. There’s plenty of new stuff too:

  • Chappell Roan Bundles : The update adds two Chappell Roan skins to celebrate the pop star. The first one, called Roan of Arc, is based on her 2024 VMA performance outfit. The second shows her in a bodysuit and cowboy hat with colors you can customize.
  • Honkai Star Rail Content : This collaboration brings content from the popular game Honkai Star Rail into Fortnite. Epic hasn’t revealed exactly what yet, but expect themed skins or items.
  • Marvel Rivals Continuation : More Marvel Rivals content is coming. Leaks suggest there are going to be Luna Snow and Magik skins.
  • KPop Demon Hunters Wave 2 : On February 6, the second wave of KPop Demon Hunters items hits the shop.

What’s Next?

Fortnite Love and Legends - 3

The Love and Legends roadmap ends with a tiny icy heart symbol, which is actually a hint about what’s coming next. Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 launches on March 5th, 2026, and the rumors point to a Norse Mythology theme.

The return of the Ice King during Love and Legends seems connected to this. Epic Games loves to drop hints about upcoming seasons in current events. If Norse Mythology is really the theme, expect gods, warriors, and lots of cold, snowy vibes in the new season. February is going to be so packed if you love playing Fortnite. Which event will you be attending?
