KPop Demon Hunters Wave 2 has finally dropped in Fortnite Item Shop within the v39.40 update . The official Fortnite account posted a teaser that says “영원히 깨질 수 없는” which translates to “Forever unbreakable” in English, and is a part of HUNTR/X’s Golden lyric.

How to Get Jinu Skin for Free?
You can also earn the Jinu skin for free by competing in the Solo KPop Demon Hunter Cup on February 6th, 2026. Since it’s a Solo ranked competition, you can’t bring your squad. You have to fight alone and play up to 10 matches during a three-hour window. The top performers will have a chance to unlock the Jinu skin early.
Check the Compete tab in Fortnite on February 6th to see your region’s specific start time. If you don’t place high enough to earn the skin, you can still buy it from the Item Shop when Wave 2 officially releases.
Will Wave 1 Return to Fortnite?
If you missed the first wave, the original HUNTR/X skins will probably return to the Item Shop (plus the mythic items !) when Wave 2 drops. Epic Games usually brings back the first wave items when they release a second wave, so this is your chance to grab anything you missed.
