How to Obtain All Essence in Fisch Tidefall Update

You can obtain Requis, Tide, and Thalass essence only in the Tidefall location. Obtaining the Requis essence requires completing the Magical Diver quest, whereas others can be mined from the rocks in Tidefall. With that said, here is the step-by-step guide to getting all essences:

Requis Essence

You must complete the Magical Diver NPC’s quest to obtain the Requis essence in Fisch. Note that you must be at level 100 or above to receive the quest. Here are the steps to getting the essence:

  1. Go to the Sunken Reliquary sub-location in Tidefall.
  2. Find the Magical Diver NPC at 2996 X, -1101Z, and -40Y coordinates.
  3. Interact with him and receive the quest to obtain the Fallen Flying Gurnard fish. You must use the Fallen Rod to catch the Flying Gurnard with the Fallen mutation. You can purchase the Fallen Rod with 175,000C$ near the Drowned Appraiser in Tidefall.
  4. Bring the Fallen Flying Gurnard to the Magical Diver NPC to complete the quest and receive Requis essence in your inventory.

Note that you can catch the Flying Fallen Gurnrad only in the Sunker Reliquary. There is a 1 in 846 chance of catching it while fishing. So, it might be a long grind until you get your hands on the beast. You can use Aura Totem and increase your luck to catch the fish quickly.

Thassal and Tide Essences

There is no quest requirement to obtain Thassal and Tide essences in the Fisch Tidefall update. You must participate in the Dripstone Collapse event and mine the Dripstone rocks to obtain them. Here is a step-by-step guide:

  1. Go to the Tidefall location.
  2. Wait for the Dripstone Collapse event to occur naturally on your server, or trigger it manually using the Dripstone Collapse Totem. You can purchase it for 35,000,000C$ .
  3. When the event starts, a notification appears on the top of your screen: You hear stone crack above… Dripstones are falling!
  4. The stones will spawn at random spots. Find one and use a Pickaxe to obtain Thassal or Tide essence. Obtaining Tide and Thassal essences from Dripstones is based on RNG. You might get rock on most occasions. So, be prepared to grind.
